Darth Vadar Is The Original Bad Guy

One of the main bad guys in the star wars trilogy-Darth Vadar is a guy we love to hate, and wonder what if he changed back to that loving Anakin Skywalker? Thanks George Lucas for always making us wonder! As you know he was a Jedi-one of the elite who went over to the dark side. From a monsterous cyborg to the father of one of the last great golden boys-Darth Vadar is the original science fiction badass.

Kids know him now as a Lego toy. He’s been featured in Dark Horse Comics Star Wars Tales. The Dark Lord of the Sith has alwasy had a dark place in our hearts.

In fact Star Wars is so awesome that they have a Wookipedia.

You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!“―Obi-Wan Kenobi, to the fallen Anakin Skywalker

Darth even has a blog now-well, it’s concluded. But, if you want to read the darkest thoughts of the Lord of the Sith’s check it out, The Darthside.

So Darth Vadar, he’s been Pulp, Pictures, and people.

Now in this Youtube video he is in love.

Pulp Images Saving Science Fiction Robots One Damsel At A Time

A team of 5 NASA scientists bring their out of this world Savvy to saving American Pulp

Akron, OHIO- Pulp Images is gearing up on Kickstarter to preserve over 20,000 images from Pulp history. The group hopes to preserve not only the colored images, but also the inside cover of  black and white images as well. They have recently launched their Kickstarter campaign to raise $25,000 in order to fund a website, and digitally scan these images as well as restore them.

Pulp Images was created by a group of NASA engineers who have always had an affinity for science fiction pulp. The history of pulp has been rooted in Jules Vern, a legendary author and in the early magazines of the twentieth century. Pulp art is the illustrations from magazine covers published from the 1890’s to the 1960’s. These covers are slowly fading into history, and because of that the group was formed to save them.

Pulp images has been devoting years to this project, and have so far scanned many images on their own. With the use of Kickstarter, the company plans to start a new phase in the preservation of these important pieces of Americana.

Most Kickstarter campaigns operate under an all or nothing idea, so if Pulpimages.com doesn’t reach their goal of $25,000 the preservation will be stopped. To follow their project find them on Twitter (@Pulpimages) and Facebook.com/Pulpimages and spread the word on your social media networks. Consider trying to donate as little as $1 to start the project. If you want to donate more, you can be the first among your friends to be featured on a actual cover from Pulp Americana.

If you would like more information about Pulpimages.com Kickstarter project or to schedule an interview email Coletted1980@gmail.com or tweet @pulpimages.

You need to see the Doc!

In the morning, after you’ve woken from a night of Friday hijinxs, you might be feeling a little on the green side. We’re not saying take a trip to the doctor, instead try reading some of the Doc!

Doc Savage was a physician, surgeon, scientist, adventurer, inventor, explorer and researcher during the 1940’s. A classic pulp character, Doc would surely be able to find the much sought after “hangover cure,” a mystery even with today’s modern medicines.

Go forth, pulpies. Have fun tonight. Consult the Doc in the morning.

Oh and scroll around our Kickstarter page while your laying in your bed recovering on Saturday.

Pulp Images Will Be Here….

So thanks to a great group of people we are not only going to be appearing to local pulp and comic con arenas in Ohio, but national comic con’s have agreed to put our postcard out there.
